Brow lift surgery
Dr. Steven Rueda is one of the most sought after browlift surgeons in Palm Beach. His attention to detail and methodical technique create beautiful and natural results with facial plastic surgery. The goal of browlift surgery is to reposition a droopy eye brow. When the brow falls from its position it can create the appearance of a low brow, excess eyelid skin, droopy eyelid skin, and a tired appearance to the face. This occurs because the distance between the eyelid and brow shortens when the brow droops. It is important to determine if the excess skin is coming from the eyelid itself or is due to a droopy brow creating the false impression of excess skin. Browlift surgery repositions the brow to its original location and helps also smoothen the eyelid skin. In cases where the eyelid skin is in true excess, eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) may also be needed.
